領隊：KD為大把鈔票退隊

Kevin Durant用「身心俱疲」當理由退出國家隊，但領隊Jerry Colangelo說得更白：KD是因為球鞋合約才退隊的。

原本KD是「勾勾牌」球鞋代言人，不過，據傳來自KD家鄉的U牌，捧上大把銀子，希望Durant跳槽。Colangelo認為，這件事正是KD身心俱疲的原因。

「不能出征，KD其實很懊惱，他真的很想打世界盃，」Colangelo說，「但他發現，因為合約狀況，沒得選擇。有許多事情縈繞在他心頭，於是身心俱疲，實在不意外。」

美國國家隊一向由「勾勾牌」贊助，其他廠牌代言球星拍照時，得遮蓋身上「勾勾牌」標誌。

U牌大將、勇士隊Stephen Curry，入選這次美國男籃隊，他相當能體諒Durant的選擇。

「KD退隊，我們當然都感到意外，」Curry說，「他在拉斯維加斯集訓時的表現，就跟我們認識的Kevin Durant一樣猛。別怪罪球員做這種選擇，每個人都有做這種選擇的時刻，所以別指責他。」
